A selection of High Quality limited edition framed photographic prints of Peters paintings are available from the Studio and Galleries around Sydney and the Hunter Valley. These are full colour reproductions on photographic paper framed behind glass in a beautiful wooden frame, and are serial numbered and signed by the artist. The outer dimensions of the frame are 300x400mm and the image are varies depending on the shape of the image, but will fit within an area of 270x200mm.

Giclee is a word derived from French and means "to spray" the process is not dissimilar to your home domestic inkjet printer except that its done with 6-8 colour UV resistant inks and is printed onto High grade artist canvas, and sealed with a UV resistant Varnish. The quality of these reproduction is remarkable as they look almost exactly like the original painting. In order to get the maximum quality print a very high pixelrate photograph or scan is required. Peter has a large library of High quality images on file of his paintings and can produce these Giclee prints of most of the Images you find on this website. Although a quick email to Peter will confirm availability. Once a Giclee print has been produced Peter himself will make wooden stretcher bars and assemble the print ready for hanging. The print can also be available un-streched for easy shipping, allowing it to be rolled up and placed in a cardboard shipping tube. It may then be assembled by your local framing shop, with full instructions inside shipment.

The size of these Giclees are limited to no more then 500x1000mm image area plus 50mm bleed all round to allow for mounting onto stretchers. Larger prints are physically possible but Peter recommends that a painting be commissioned instead.

Peter has over the years produced many wood and lino cut prints, and there will be more of these in the future as time allows. These are artist prints where an design is cut mirror image into either a wooden block or a lino tile, it is then rolled with block printing ink, laid onto high quality paper and either rubbed or rolled through a press, leaving an in print of the image in reverse onto the paper. This is an ancient technique and produces some fascinating results as the ink and the plate sometimes create their own little patterns around the image. No two prints are alike although its the same image.
